“Learning Pavilion in the Park”“In the middle of the park and no wasted space: The school building is a concentrated intervention that integrates all functions.”In order to preserve the scarce outdoor space for the primary school and sports hall in the municipality of Köniz (CH), a single, highly transparent volume bundles all functions in the middle of the park. The gymnasium is recessed underneath of the one-story school, which is homogenously embedded into the topography. The pavilion provides the children with direct access to the green surroundings from all sides. “Outdoor classrooms in the form of patios are woven into this dynamic learning tapestry.”“The learning level is structured like a net.
