“Kids, Cats, Communication”“The two three and four stories high building volumes in the German town Lörrach / Schopfhiem connect through a calm, semiprivate central courtyard.”“Flexible and diverse living typologies with two or even three orientations derive from a radial organization of the flats around the stair cases.”The building is characterized through a strip façade with robust balustrades and intels, as well as three different window types which refer to the specific use.“The floor plans offer divers opportunities: Without any hallways, spaces flow into one another, still offering places for retreat. No rooms are oriented only to the north. Teraces, gardens and small loggias generate a strong relation to the surrounding.”P R O J E C T D E T A I L S
